We are pleased to announce that the first ever winner of the Master in International Dispute Settlement (MIDS) – Young ICCA Scholarship is Estefanía Contreras, a Colombia native set to commence her studies at MIDS in Geneva this September. Estefanía obtained her law degree from the Universidad Externado de Colombia, and her specialisation diploma in International Business Law from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.

Diego Gutierrez, Executive Director of the Master in International Dispute Settlement (MIDS), says that “Estefanía had excellent academic credentials and an impressive resume for her young age combining extensive experience in various capacities in leading moot court competitions worldwide relevant to the MIDS, together with practical experience as a Colombian lawyer, and a keen academic interest on international investment arbitration. Overall we find Estefanía to be an outstanding candidate for the MIDS and for the Young ICCA Scholarship, and we have great expectations of her”.
