MIDS-Young ICCA Scholarship winner announced
We are pleased to announce the winner of the 2021 MIDS Young ICCA scholarship, Zuzanna Kowalska. Zuzanna will attend the Geneva LL.M. in International Dispute Settlement (MIDS) for the academic year 2021-22.

If you had to give an acceptance speech for this scholarship, what would your first line be? I feel very honored and thankful to Young ICCA for your trust and support.
What is your favourite virtue? Courage
What are your favourite qualities in another person? Intelligence, sense of humor and humbleness
What is your chief characteristic? Inner joy of life and intellectual curiosity
What is your main fault? To a certain extent, impatience
What is your favourite occupation? Learning new things, acquiring new skills
What is your idea of happiness? Living a meaningful life
What is your idea of misery? Loss of interest in life and narcissism
If not yourself, who would you be? Still myself
Where would you like to live? In Eastern Poland or anywhere by the sea
Who is your favourite prose author? Fyodor Dostoyevsky and Lev Tolstoy
Who is your favourite hero/heroine in fiction? Fitzwilliam Darcy
Who is your hero in real life? My ancestors
What historical person do you most dislike? It would be quite a long list and based on various reasons
What is your favourite name? Never thought about it, however I like my name very much
What do you hate the most? Ignorance and hypocrisy
What is your natural talent? Making good observations and generally good judgements, seeing things in a broader perspective
What is your favourite arbitration-related decision? A well-reasoned, just and practical decision
Who is your favourite arbitrator? One who is open-minded and has good management skills
