Young ICCA Scholarship with Tsinghua Law School

We are delighted to announce that, with the generous support of the Cheng Yu Tung-Tsinghua Law Development Fund, Tsinghua Law School in Beijing will offer one Young ICCA member the possibility of receiving a scholarship to attend the Tsinghua LL.M program in International Arbitration & Dispute Settlement (IADS) in the academic year 2016-2017. The scholarship covers full tuition fees (RMB 146,000).

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

1)      Applicants must be Young ICCA members. Information regarding membership may be found here: www.arbitration-icca.org/YoungICCA.

2)      Applicants must submit their application for admission to, and meet all requirements of, the Tsinghua IADS LL.M program through the online application platform: http://www.tsinghua.edu.cn/publish/lawen/9219/index.html.

3)      Applicants must include, together with all the other required documents, a Young ICCA scholarship request explaining their interest in international arbitration and in the Tsinghua IADS LL.M program specifically, why they deserve to be awarded the scholarship, and where they see themselves in five years’ time (three pages maximum).

The scholarship will be awarded based on the overall merits of the applicant, in consultation with Young ICCA.  Attention will be paid to the need of assembling a diverse LL.M class.  

The application deadline for the Young ICCA scholarship is the same deadline as for regular applications for admission to the Tsinghua IADS LL.M program:  28 February 2016.

The scholarship recipient will be announced by the end of March 2016.
