Update on the 5th cycle of the Young ICCA Mentoring Programme

On behalf of the Young ICCA Mentoring Programme team, the Young ICCA Mentoring Programme Coordinators wish to thank everyone who took the time to submit their applications for the upcoming 2018-2019 Mentoring Programme.

We received a record-breaking number of applicants from all around the globe for this cycle, spanning the entire spectrum in relation to age, experience and backgrounds.  We are excited to see such strong interest in the Programme.

To address the sheer number of applicants we received this year, we are pleased to announce that we have increased the number of Mentors and Buddies who will be participating in the upcoming cycle.  Needless to say, the Young ICCA Mentoring Programme could not succeed without the tireless devotion and commitment of our Mentors and Buddies.

Unfortunately, given the size of the programme, we are unable to accommodate all applicants.  We wish to remind everyone that one of the overriding goals of the Young ICCA Programme is to promote diversity in international arbitration by exposing new practitioners to this exciting field.  Therefore, please do not be discouraged if you are not selected for this cycle, and we encourage everyone to apply next year if you are unsuccessful this time around.

Please note that successful applicants will be notified in the week of 1 December 2017, and that the groups will be formed shortly thereafter.
