YOUNG ICCA ANNOUNCES THE RETURN OF THE YOUNG ICCA UNIVERSITY OF MIAMI LLM SCHOLARSHIP

Young ICCA is pleased to announce that for the second year in a row it will be awarding a full-tuition scholarship to attend the University of Miami's one-year postgraduate LLM program in international arbitration.  The University of Miami, in conjunction with Young ICCA ,awards the scholarship to a promising young arbitration practitioner or law graduate who is a member of Young ICCA and meets the relevant selection criteria.  The scholarship would be for the 2013-2014 academic year.

After the overwhelming response and flood of applications, Young ICCA is happy to be able to provide this opportunity a second time.  Marike Paulsson, founder and Co-Chair of Young ICCA says, "We started Young ICCA with one goal -- to open the doors of international arbitration.  I can't think of a better way of doing it then providing promising individuals from around the world the opportunity to study under the world's leading arbitration specialists."

Last year's winner, Wamiq Chowdhury, won the scholarship amongst a distinguished group of finalists who submitted essays on a range of topics from "How Do We Design for Legitimacy" to "Arbitrariness -- Were the Swiss Wrong to Think They Were Wrong?".  Mr. Chowdhury is now one semester through the year-long program and will play an important role in administering the scholarship going forward.
