Young ICCA Awards Four Scholarships for the Certificate in International Commercial and Investment Arbitration at Roma Tre University
Young ICCA is delighted to announce the award of four scholarships, in partnership with Chiomenti, Chaffetz Lindsey LLP, MCL Arbitration, and ArbIt, to attend the thirteenth edition of the Certificate in International Commercial and Investment Arbitration at Roma Tre University, taking place from 21 to 25 September 2026.
This year’s scholarship recipients are:
- Young ICCA - Chiomenti Scholar: Daria Ostapenko (Ukraine)
- Young ICCA - Chaffetz Lindsey Scholar: Arijit Sanyal (India)
- Young ICCA - MCL Arbitration Scholar: Owen Chimdebube Umeh (Nigeria)
- Young ICCA – ArbIt Scholar: Maria Daniela Parra Hernández (México)

Young ICCA Members can still register for the Certificate and receive a 20% reduction on registration fees.
Led by prominent academics, in-house counsel and practitioners, the Certificate spans five days of engaging sessions, practical roundtables, and interactive workshops on international commercial and investment arbitration. The course covers both theoretical and practical aspects of international arbitration and is designed for both students and practitioners.
The programme also includes participation in the Roma Tre University - UNIDROIT Annual International Arbitration Lecture, which this year will be delivered by Prof. Gabrielle Kaufmann-Kohler, Founding Partner of LKK Lévy Kaufmann-Kohler, past President and Honorary President of ICCA, and Professor Emerita at the University of Geneva Faculty of Law.
